Babbie Rural and Farm Learning Museum
Getting hands-on with history
A lifelong dream of retired rural farmer, Leeward Babbie, the Babbie Museum provides visitors with an opportunity for hands-on experiences with farm tools used more than 100 years ago. A full-sized stagecoach, old farm furnishings, and a restored shingle mill visitors will make you feel like you are in the year 1850. A petting zoo with hens, horses, and miniature donkeys will make the kids yearning to bring one home.
