Fort Ticonderoga
A fort with a long history in the North Country
This star shaped fort played a significant role throughout history, from 1609-1777. Fort Ticonderoga was involved in The French & Indian War, French-British conflict during the colonial era and the Revolutionary War. The fort was transferred to state ownership in 1785 and has been converted into a museum, garden, reenactment area and much more! Inside you will fine colonial and pre-colonial weaponry and attire along with lifestyle items used by people of these era.
