As a self taught artist, Heidi Gutersloh has been painting in oils since the third grade. Watching and listening to other artists has been my formal art education. Her specialty, and the painting that gives her most joy, is in creating detailed pet portraits for animal lovers. Since moving to Saranac Lake from Long Island, Heidi has become a founding member of the NorthWind Fine Arts Gallery established in May 2011. Her works have been included in several regional arts shows both locally and on Long Island.
